With Foodapalooza fast approaching, details for the free event are coming together quickly. Foodapalooza, which will occur on and around Friday, February 27th, in Alexandria, will include more workshops, partners and events than ever before.
This year’s workshops will cover a variety of topics, including how to increase sales for farmers, organizing around local food, developing youth activities, worm casting, and microbrewing.
While details continue to develop, Foodapalooza partners already include local farmers, a dozen restaurants, the Good Food Project, and the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
Along with workshops and local food events, this year’s Foodapalooza will feature a happy hour hosted by the Louisiana Young Farmers Coalition and Saturday events at some of our region’s farmers markets.
