The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are almost entirely funded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and are primarily a grantmaking Foundation.
However, we are grateful to have received donations made by employees and other contributors over the years, which we have used and continue to use to to further our work in support of our programs to empower everyday people doing extraordinary good. Through the Angel Award, the New Horizons Fund and other grantmaking programs, gifts of any amount will help making a lasting influence on the health and wellbeing of Louisianians.
