Dr. Christopher was honored in 2000 as founder and executive director of Our House, Inc., an agency and safe house dedicated to providing immediate help to teens and their families. She helped more than 3,000 teens in crisis and built the only youth services agency to non-adjudicated youth in northeastern Louisiana. Dr. Christopher passed away in 2015.
