Kimberly and Aaron Novod founded Saul’s Light after the premature birth and death of their son, Saul. The organization has created a community for families enduring traumatic preterm birth outcomes, and works to address disparities in infant and maternal health. While NICU’s provide medical care for pre-term babies, few avenues of support exist for families. Saul’s Light helps fill the gaps – providing emergency financial support, housing, and supplies, while also advocating for policies that will improve birth outcomes and lessen deadly disparities in care experienced by Black and brown families.
